WebCam Capture Manual ver. 0.9b

What is it?

WebCam Capture allows you to download and save dynamic images (i.e. web cameras) on your hard drive and/or have them set as your desktop background.

How to Use

Enter the URL of the image you want to capture (how to find image URL's tutorial here), set the time, available options and you're good to go.

What Are My Options?

Enter the image URL in the drop down this text box. Click the text box arrow to view a history of URLs that you have entered.

If you want to see any changes you make or just want to download a new image before the timer does it for you click Capture Image.

Some web cameras update faster than others. Set the amount of time the program should wait before checking for a new image. Be kind to the image host and set this time to a resonable level.

Options:
Set as Wallpaper: Check this box if you would like the image set as your background image on your desktop.
Cache File: This option allows you to save the image to a folder on your hard drive.
Check for duplicate image: Check this option to check if the image has actually updated and to make sure you're not downloading duplicate images to your hard drive. This option is fairly reliable but may not always meet your needs.
Cache Images In: By default, images are stored in the program's directory. Set your own choice of a folder here.
Save in folder with today's date: Just as the option says. This will create a new folder wherever files are being saved with today's date.
